As avid supporters of gay rights, Xiang and I could not be happier about the Supreme Court striking down DOMA today because what else is worth fight for, if not love? We hope that those of the LGBT community would cease to be treated as second rate citizens in the eyes of the government and the rest of the world. There will always be those who fear what is different and there always has been but today we will clink our glasses to progress and the right to not be judged for who we love. There may be more important issues at home and in the world but there is no issue where the answer is so transparent than that of gay marriage. We're happy that the right decisions have been made and we're excited for all the gay weddings we can finally attend!
