[Bloom into Spring Fashion 2013]

Blumarine Spring 2013 Collection

It's no doubt that spring is one of the most beautiful times of year and as the flowers begin to bloom then so should you. This is an exciting year for spring fashion since we're seeing so many new trends as well as old ones we love. Thus, we bring you some of our favorite upcoming trends for spring so you can shine in the upcoming sunlight.

If you get a chance to browse through pictures from the past NY Fashion week, you can see that this spring has less flowy drape or flowery pattern, but more architectural construction, geometry and retro black&white. This spring's fashion persona is a strong, independent modern woman who does not lose her femininity either.

Bold Stripes
Stripes are stepping up its game this season. They are not just regular sailor stripes, but a lot more modern, irregular, unexpected and designery.

Clean Sexy
This season there is less girly shapes, but more clean work attire inspired casual chics. I am a big fan of this trend personally. The bold low cut from Akris definitely takes some confidence or work around to pull off on a regular day, but still, if given a piece, I'll try it.

Low Heels
This season is not about skin-tight dress or 5 inch heels. The low heels featured in NY Fashion week by Marc Jacobs, LV and many other brands define sexiness can be effortless and painless too. While there are many low heels are colorful and studded, I personally like them to be simple and with some exaggerated chunky heels.

This spring fashion article is always my favorite to put together because it gets me excited for warmer weather. Last spring we saw a lot of  bright, vivid, neon colors but this spring I wanted to start off with celebrating the starkness of black and white.

Black&White
I love this monotone trend, especially with the pairing of bright colored shoes. Black and white are two staples that come around every season but they will shine like never before this spring!

Peekaboos&See-throughs
I'm always a big fan of subtle sexuality and showing the right amount of skin. So of course I look forward to see more cutouts about. Now the cutout trend has evolved to being more than just that to show skin in a whole new way.

Intricate Beading
We all know the risk of beading is that beads will always fall off. However, with such intricate beading it's hard to tell if there's one missing! Therefore I'm willing to give this trend a try. Not only is it incredibly elegant but it also makes anything look expensive.
