Endless Summer – Island Style in Hawaii Part 2

I spent a week in Honolulu. More precisely, I spent a week in Honolulu lying on the beach, eating shaved ice, checking out the local malls (check our my previous post on some brands originated from Hawaii) and just enjoying life in the sunshine. I only packed some light, easy to put on pieces for the trip, as well as my hats. Below are some pictures from the trip. Hope you guys enjoy them.

The beaches are definitely the places to go in Hawaii, doesn't matter how many times you've been there. If you want to avoid the crazy tourist crowd and enjoy softer sand, you can try North Shore (many surfers there). It is about 40 minutes drive from Waikiki area. Cotton shirts are perfect for going to the beach: easy to put on, ok to get wet and dry well. I was happy that I finally get to wear this shirt with many cutouts on the back there. The shorts were my new find at the Ala Moana mall. They are great for the beach, and I plan to wear them with leggings in the city too.

Other than the beach, there are a lot more things to enjoy in Hawaii as well, for example: the food. Waiola's has the reputation of the best shaved ice on the island among the locals. The combination of condensed milk, red beans, mochi balls and ice cream can never go wrong.

Hawaii is the spa you want to go for the ultimate relaxation. The waves soothe your soul; the greeneries calm your eyes and the air clears your mind. The island feels so lively and I love all my encounters with the life there.
